1. What is LavaGlow?

LavaGlow is a handcrafted line of glowing lava stone candle holders and diffusers made from real Icelandic volcanic rock. Each piece is designed to bring calm and atmosphere through light, nature, and Icelandic craftsmanship.

2. Do the candle holders really glow in the dark?

Yes! Each piece is hand-painted with glow-in-the-dark mineral pigments that absorb natural or artificial light and emit a soft, soothing glow at night. Every Aurora and Glacier edition also includes a complimentary 365 nm UV light to charge the glow effect instantly.

3. Where do the lava stones come from?

All lava stones are handpicked in Húsafell, Iceland, from naturally loose volcanic rock — never broken or removed from protected areas. Our process respects both land and law, and we hold an official collection permit from the Natural Science Institute of Iceland.

4. What’s included with my order?

• Tealight holders include a complimentary unscented tealight (and a UV light for glow editions).
• Diffusers include porous lava stones, an instruction card, and gift-ready packaging.

5. When will I receive my order?

Orders ship directly from Húsafell, Iceland, within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary by destination — usually 5–14 business days for Europe and 10–20 days for the rest of the world. You’ll receive tracking details once your package is on the way.

6. Can I request a custom or gift order?

Yes! You can include a personalized message card with your order - perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions. Simply write your message in the order notes at checkout, and we’ll make sure it’s included in the package.
